| Ross is not the biggest wide receiver, but he is one of the best in Florida. He gets off the ball very well, he is an explosive athlete, and he plays with good speed. He makes good adjustments to the ball as well. He is a threat downfield and he will likely end up as a slot receiver on the next level. | 2008: One of the fastest receivers in the entire state, Ross finished his junior season with 34 catches for 693 yards and 10 touchdowns. He was given Honorable Mention All-State FSWA 5A, All Central Florida Second Team, All-Area First Team, All-County (Volusia). Ross says he can bench 285-pounds, squat 315 and has a 31-inch vertical jump.
Ross plans on majoring in business management and reports a 2.6 core GPA and a 14 ACT, which he will retake.
Ross: “I have great speed and quickness. I can get great separation from the defender. I think I’m like a Percy Harvin-type. He’s my idol.
“I want to improve my hands and catching the ball. I also want to run better routes.”
