| Watkins is a playmaker and he has speed to a lot of damage in the open field. He is elusive in space, he has the speed to be a vertical threat, and he could play inside or outside at wideout. One of the most attractive things about Watkins is his toughness - he could play corner as well on the next level and he does not mind contact. | 2008 The junior had 71 total tackles with 36 solo, three interceptions and a fumble recovery. He rushed for 329 yards and five touchdowns and passed for 419 yards and another five touchdowns as a part time quarteback. All-Area First Team Defensive back, FSWA 5A Second Team All-State DB. |
