While playing in a run-oriented offense during his first two years as a varsity starter, Patterson wasnt a major part of the offense. However, the team opened things up as a junior and Patterson flourished, catching 35 balls for 710 yards and seven touchdowns. He also competes in basketball and track and became a full academic qualifier by the end of his junior year.
