| Wenger is a nasty center that has the quickness to get out on linebackers just after the snap. The Raiders use Wenger's agility to their advantage pulling him and trapping the defensive line. |
| Biography: |
| In his second season as the varsity starter at center, Wenger helped his team reach the Class 5A state title game. He was an All-County and All-State pick as a junior. As impressive in the class room as he is on the field, Wenger reports a 4.0 GPA and a 1550 SAT (2400 version).
Senior season notes: St. Thomas Aquinas (10-0) travels to Delray to play Atlantic on Nov. 18.
Daniel Wenger: "I play smart and can see what the defense is doing. I have good vision and am quick off the ball and always drive my legs," said Wenger. "I want to improve my 40 speed and my first step quickness. I need to stay lower and get stronger too."
