The 6'3 rising junior came on down the stretch and started to dominate games with tremendous athleticism and a non-stop motor. With elite size, Pompey possesses a high ceiling and his best days are clearly down the road.
RB Mike Blakely
Blakely has made an impact since he arrived on campus as a freshmen. As a freshmen and sophomore he was a complementary piece who produced as a RB, QB, and kick returner. Last year, he really started to fill out and took the lions share of carries. Blakely has elite acceleration and is capable of taking it the distance with his deep speed.
Long, lean, and silky smooth Bundrage produced some clutch plays as a junior. With Ace's graduation, he will be the main outside weapon next year and should put up some huge numbers. Bundrage needs to get stronger, but it is only a matter of time until he fills out a great frame.
Two more players to keep an eye on are defensive linemen Drakkar Wilson and Chris Pompey. Wilson, a DT, is a player that lacks ideal height at 6'0, but makes up for it with his a terrific feel for the game, great motor, and he is tough as nails. Pompey, a DE, is on the raw side but possesses the physical tools to explode on the scene in 2010.
