Week 9 is in the books, here is a quick recap of games from around the state.

BROWARD

St. Thomas shutout Deerfield Beach 27-0 to move to 8-0 on the year.

Boyd Anderson scored 21 in the 4th to beat Douglas 41-27.

DADE

Carol City won a District 12-6A title with a 34-6 win over Goleman. Belen joined them in District 15-3A after a 27-17 win over Norland.

Southridge remained unbeaten and added a district title by beating Killian 29-6 at Harris Field.

PALM BEACH

Boca Raton defeated Atlantic 34-27 to remain unbeaten in district play, the loss is Atlantic's second straight.

Pahokee needed OT to beat Palm Beach Lakes 21-14 in non-district action.

ORLANDO

Olympic rallied to beat previously unbeaten Apopka 22-12, they are district champions.

Winter Park gave Osceola their 4th loss of the season with a 33-20 win in a non district game.

SOUTHWEST FLORIDA

Venice's 43-29 win over Manatee gave the Indians the District 10-5A title and home field in the playoffs. It was Venice's third straight district championship.

Lehigh defeated Naples 34-14 putting themselves in great position for a playoff berth. A win over Cypress Lake could mean a District Title depending on the outcome of the Lely-Collier game.

TAMPA

Countryside is District 5A-8 Champs after a 35-21 win over East Lake.

JACKSONVILLE

Orange Park improved to 8-0 with a 45-7 win over Bartram Trail

Trinity Christian won District 3-1A by beating Providence 38-7. Providence hosts defending state champion North Florida Christian next Friday for the other playoff berth.

Middleburg upset previously unbeaten Fleming Island 25-24 in a non district game.

PANHANDLE

Jefferson County put up 62 points in a district clinching win over FAMu.

Pine Forest locked up District 1-4A with a win over Milton.

GAINESVILLE

Gainesville moved to 8-1 after a 45-13 win over Springstead. They clinched a playoff spot and will play Lake Weir for the title next week.

Columbia rallied from 25 points down midway through the 3rd to beat Ed White 36-32 to claim the District 4-4A title.

EAST COAST

Cocoa has not allowed a point for 18 quarters as they moved to 8-0 with another shutout, this time Cocoa Beach 52-0.
