Many playoff spots were locked up on Friday night, here are some results of key games from across the state.

DADE

Booker T. Washington clinched their 7th straight district championship with a 16-8 win over Jackson.

Northwestern locked up another district title with a 59-21 win over Miami Springs.

BROWARD

Stranahan beat Hollywood Hills 20-17 to earn a playoff berth in 4A-16.

Northeast beat Douglas 28-7 for a key District win.

St. Thomas rolled McArthur 49-7, scoring 21 points in both the first and second quarter.

PALM BEACH

Seminole Ridge's 34-27 victory over Atlantic puts them in control of their own destiny in District 8-6A

SOUTHWEST FLORIDA

Manatee (27-16 over Riverview) and Venice (48-7 over Sarasota) will square off next Friday for the 5A-10 title. Both are playoff bound.

Naples beat Barron Collier 27-3 in a District 3A-12 battle. The win puts four teams with one loss in district play. Lely has to play Barron Collier and Lehigh will take on Naples.

Cape Coral (54-21 over Gulf Coast) and Ida Baker (28-7 over Palmetto Ridge) clinched playoff berths in 4A-12. It is Baker's first trip to the playoffs (opened 5 years). The teams will square off in two weeks for the District title.

South Ft. Myers defeated Ft. Myers 34-0 and Riverdale beat Bishop Verot 18-7, the two will meet Thursday night for control of District 11-3A.

TAMPA

Armwood beat Hillsborough 34-21 in a battle of Tampa Area heavyweights. The win puts the Hawks in control of District 4A-9.

CENTRAL FLORIDA

Lakeland beat Osceola 26-7 to take control of District 5A-4. The loss drops the Kowboys to 5-3 on the year.

Apopka hammered East Ridge 56-14 in a 6A-5 district game, with Olympia's 35-18 win over Ocoee, the two will play for the district title next Friday.

JACKSONVILLE

St. Augustine clinched their sixth straight District title with a 49-13 win over Matanzas.

Ed White remained unbeaten in District 4A-4, they have a huge game next week at Lake City Columbia.

PANHANDLE

Lincoln routed Leon 42-9 to move to 2-0 in District 4A-3.

Trinity Christian remained unbeaten with a District 1A-3 21-14 win over #1 ranked North Florida Christian.

Pine Forest needed double overtime to beat Pace 36-30, the win coupled with Milton's loss to Tate, puts the Eagle's in first place of District 4A-1.

EAST COAST

Defending State Champ Cocoa took control of District 2A-3 with a 28-3 win over Astronaut.

Vero Beach remained unbeaten and clinched a playoff spot with a 28-13 win over Centennial.

South Fork is headed back to the playoffs after a 28-14 win over Sebastian River. Ft. Pierce Central defeated Martin County 32-14 to claim the other spot. The two teams meet on November 6th for the District Title.
