Seven weeks are now in the books, here are the latest statewide rankings.

1. ST. THOMAS AQUINAS RAIDERS (6-0, 5A)

WINS: at Upper Arlington(OH) 52-7, Boyd Anderson 46-6, at Cardinal Gibbons 35-7, Byrnes 42-34, at Nova 56-0, Miramar 31-6

NEXT GAME: vs. McArthur

REASON FOR TOP 10: Solid win over the Patriot's this week, the Raiders look tough to beat at this point.

2. MIAMI BOOKER T. WASHINGTON TORNADOES (6-0, 3A)

WINS: at Killian 40-16, Carol City 35-22, at Coral Gables 36-0, Northwestern 35-28, at Key West 38-7, North Miami Beach 10-8

NEXT GAME: vs. Jackson

REASON FOR TOP 10:Big win over Northwestern will keep them here, big game vs. a rising Jackson program this week.

3. BOLLES BULLDOGS (6-0, 2B)

WINS: at Archbishop Carroll 47-0, at American Heritage 42-6, Interlachen 70-9, Fernandina Beach 65-0, at University Christian 55-6, Yulee 68-0

NEXT GAME: at West Nassau

REASON FOR TOP 10: The Defending State Champs have outscored opponents 339-21 thus far, extremely well coached team that has plenty of raw talent.

4. LAKELAND DREADNAUGHTS (5-0, 5A)

WINS: at Winter Haven 28-0, Tenoroc 60-0, at De La Salle(CA) 31-30, Plantation 46-14, Bayside 38-9, Ridge 56-12

NEXT GAME: vs. Osceola

REASON FOR TOP 10: High quality out of state win in California, Haggins continues to improve at QB. Big one this week with Osceola.

5. MIAMI NORTHWESTERN BULLS (5-1, 6A)

WINS: at Carol City 27-6, Hialeah 42-20, Hialeah-Miami Lakes 54-23, Central 22-14, Columbus 15-13

LOSS: #2 Booker T. Washington 35-28

NEXT GAME:vs. Miami Springs

REASON FOR TOP 10: Good win over Columbus, but the turnovers and penalties need to be cleaned up.

6. MIAMI CENTRAL ROCKETS (6-1, 6A)

WINS: at Mainland 34-3, at Killian 32-0, at Miami Beach 63-0, at Miami Springs 70-24, at Carol City 36-0, Edison 46-0

LOSS: #5 Northwestern 22-14

EXT GAME: vs. Hialeah

REASON FOR TOP 10: The Rockets have throttled six of the seven teams they have played. Will have a 11/14 shot at Booker T. Washington.

7. DR. PHILLIPS PANTHERS (6-0, 6A)

WINS: at Edgewater 24-0, at Osceola 9-0, Olympia 27-20, Cypress Creek 35-0, at Boone 47-9, Evans 38-9

NEXT GAME: at Oak Ridge

REASON FOR TOP 10: Appear to be Orlando's most complete team, DP's offense is starting to come around and match an already stout defense. The favorite at this point to get to Orlando from the North.

8. MANATEE HURRICANES (6-0, 5A)

WINS: Bayshore 45-0, at Palmetto 35-3, Southeast 30-26, at Lakewood Ranch 35-14, at Sarasota 35-20, Braden River 14-7

REASON FOR TOP 10: Solid all around team with consistent offense and chance that offense can explode at any time.

REASON FOR TOP 10: Win over Dwyer looks better every week. Appear to be the favorite in 2A at this point.
