Columbus(2-0) at South Dade(2-0): After a less than stellar 2008 season, South Dade appears to be back after winning their first two games this season. The offense is led by QB Jovani McCray(15-32, 269 yards, 3/0), RB's Torry Claton(13-70) and Jorell Miller(21-51), and ATH Korey Jackson(6 catches for 92 yards). The defense and special teams have been excellent for the Buccaneers.
Columbus has been winning a ton of games the last several seasons, but have run into the juggernaut that is Northwestern in the playoffs. They have blasted Belen and Palmetto to open the season, largely behind the running of Jakhari Gore (29-398 with 6 TD's). They will face a stiffer test defensively in this one and might need QB Garrett Colao to open things open a little. WR James Calzavarra leads the team with 5 catches.
Opponents have only thrown for 50 total yards against the Explorer's, they feature some great edge rushers. South Dade should test the CB's in this one.

Dillard(0-1) at Northeast(0-1): Key early season match-up of Broward County teams. Both lost close games in game 1, Dillard to Deerfield Beach(15-14) and Northeast to Plantation(26-15).
Northeast has a tremendous defense led by DE Bryant Dubose and DB D.J. Francis. The Hurricanes will need to rely on this unit as their young QB's gain experience. Audry Woodson is a RB that they need to get going, he can be special.
Dillard is going to look to run the ball behind Otis Wright and Devonta Scott. Their massive OL vs. the talented DL of Northeast is a very intriguing match-up. They might need to get something going through the air in this one.
Obviously neither team wants to start 0-2, however both teams have manageable District's. Northeast is 6A and is with Deerfield Beach, Taravella, and Douglas. Dillard is 5A and is with Ely and Boyd Anderson.
