Here is a look at what happened Friday night across the state.

DADE

Monsignor Pace beat North Miami 20-8, Isaac Dixon replaced the injured DeAndre Johnson and ran for 127 yards. QB Stephen Morris added 156 through the air.

Booker T. Washington gave the Chief's of Carol City their second loss to open the season 35-22.

BROWARD

Deerfield Beach rallied to beat Dillard 15-14 as QB Donte Dotson threw for over 100 yards.

Plantation shut out Cypress Bay 14-0 behind RB Michael Anderson's 117 yards on 19 carries.

St. Thomas beat Boyd Anderson 46-6 behind several big plays from Lamarcus Joyner.

PALM BEACH

Palm Beach Lakes held off Boca Raton in a defensive slugfest 19-17.

Jupiter Christian beat Jensen Beach 45-43 in a game that saw JC top 300 yards in rushing and JB top 300 yards in passing.

SOUTHWEST FLORIDA

Immokalee beat Naples 25-24. WR Roderick Talbert had 5 catches for 149 yards.

Desoto County beat Booker 38-28 behind 208 yards on 27 carries by RB Marcus Shaw.

Cape Coral ended a 15 year losing streak to Fort Myers by winning 26-13. Junior WR Prince Holloway caught three touchdowns from QB Jaylen Watkins.

Estero broke a 23 game losing streak by beating St. John Neumann 44-22. QB Ryan Sides went 20-24 for 270 yards and five touchdowns.

TAMPA

Spoto beat Alonso 10-7 on a Carlos Andrade 23 yard field goal as time expired.

Pasco held off American Heritage Plantation 27-22.

Plant will kickoff at 4:00 on Saturday at Hillsborough after being rained out Friday night.

CENTRAL FLORIDA

Dr. Phillips beat shutout Osceola 9-0, they forced 8 fumbles and recovered 5. WR Kenny Shaw had a 17 yard TD grab.

Edgewater held off Olympia 31-28.

Boone avoided starting 0-2 with a triple overtime win over Timber Creek behind a more open attack led by QB Sam Hutsell.

Lakeland handled Winter Haven 28-7. QB Jarred Haggins was 8-10 for 140 yards.

EAST COAST

Mainland rebounded from a week one loss with a 37-0 shutout of Treasure Coast. RB Marlin Lane had 151 yards and WR O.J. Ross added 5 catches for 111 yards. They had 5 interceptions on defense.

JACKSONVILLE

Sandalwood beat Fletcher 14-13, ending the Senator's 12 game regular season winning streak. RB Dalton Dixon added 126 on the ground.

Orange Park 20, Buchholz 17. Once again RB/LB Demetre Baker had a huge game with 124 yards on 21 carries, throwing in a sack and interception on defense.

Jackson beat Lee 30-6 in a defensive battle. Senior all purpose standout Marquel Wade scored on a punt return, had a 3 yard TD reception, and returned a pick for a TD(that was called back).

Columbia beat Gainesville 16-13 behind 167 yards by USF commit Tiger Powell.

PANHANDLE

QB Clint Trickett threw for 238 yards to lead North Florida Christian in their shutout win over FAMU.

Lincoln held Spruce Creek to just 70 total yards in a 28-3 win. Ryan White added 131 yards on the ground.

Godby handled Pace 48-28. RB Lavorrie Johnson had 160 yards on the ground, QB Dennis Andrews threw for 187 yards.

Wakulla rallied past East Gadsden 17-14.
