Here are the top games in Palm Beach County and along the East/Treasure Coast.

Boca Raton(1-0) at Palm Beach Lakes(1-0): QB Eddie Sullivan (WF commit) was brilliant in his first game going 14-26 for 249 yards as Boca beat West Boca 21-7. Sullivan's favorite target was WR Terrell Williams who caught four balls for 130 yards with one touchdown.

A concern for Boca was only running the ball for 67 yards on 23 carries, they will need to do better than that to remain balanced. Defensively, they need to stop the run better as they gave up 185 yards. They had 8 penalties in game one.

It was not always pretty for PBL in a 13-7 win over Palm Beach Gardens, but a win is a win. The defense was solid yielding just 58 yards rushing and 117 through the air. They did recover 3 fumbles showing their opportunistic side. Johnie Simon is their best defensive player and the secondary is going to have to be much better in this one.

Offensively, it was a struggle. They ran 28 times for 119 yards with Juan O'Farill leading the way with 54 of those yards. The passing game was non-existent.

Boca Raton 24, Palm Beach Lakes 14

Treasure Coast(1-0) at Mainland(0-1): Treasure Coast played a penalty filled game with Westwood where they were fortunate to get out of there with a win. 190 yards in penalties is unacceptable and they can't get away with that this week. LB Ed Foley made a huge pick six to turn momentum in the Titan's favor.

The Titan's do not have an explosive offense, but they do have steady QB Dylan Parker, RB's Cedric Wilcox/James Millien, and WR Patrick Harris. They are capable of putting points on the board. The defense should be one of the best units in the state. All everything LB Jeff Luc headlines a talented unit that includes LB Deon Rogers, S Lamarcus Brutus, and CB Keelin Smith.

Mainland lost a 6A showdown to top 3 Miami Central 34-3. Offensively, there are some QB issues that need to be addressed because the play-makers are here: WR O.J. Ross, WR Chevin Davis, and RB Marlin Lane are as good as they come. The OL is solid, someone needs to step up who can deliver the ball.

The defense will be a little shell shocked after QB Jeffrey Godfrey had his way, the good news is that they won't see as talented of offensive team again until Orlando (if they get there). They will need to bring their hard hat for this one.

Mainland 20, Treasure Coast 17
