Carol City(0-1) vs. Booker T. Washington(1-0): Booker T. Washington handled Killian 40-16 behind star RB Eduardo Clement's 143 yards on 19 carries (2 TD's). The Tornadoes are looking for more consistent QB play from Jeremiah Hay who was just 9 of 21. He has the targets to work with, namely D-1 recruits Quinton Dunbar and Jayvon Wrentz.
Booker T's defense gave up just over 100 total yards and looks to be one of the area's best. DE Lynden Trail needs to be accounted for at all times and the overall team speed is excellent.
The Chief's need to get some offense going after being held in check in a loss to powerful Northwestern. WR Allen Hurns only caught 2 balls for 36 yards in the opener and he needs to be more involved. Neither QB, Brandon McCord(3-10, 59) or Devonte Mathis (4-13, 40) was very effective last week.
Carol City is in danger of starting 0-2 and while both losses would be to top 5 Dade County teams, it is not the way the Chief's envisioned it. A nice win over Glades Central in the Kickoff Classic shows that this team can step up and play. Booker T. had not looked particularly good in the Spring or their Kickoff Classic, but they are on track after last week's win.

Boyd Anderson(0-1) at St. Thomas Aquinas(1-0): After pounding Upper Arlington, the Raiders had a week off. They open the local season with one of the most talented teams in South Florida. Boyd Anderson is coming off a tough loss to Cypress Bay and doesn't want to start 0-2 on the year.
Junior QB Jacob Rudock seems to have taken the reins of this powerful offense, he should get better every week. He was 7-10 for 141 yards and 2 TD's in the Horseshoe in their first game. He has two horses at RB, Gio Bernard and James White, as well as a plethora of weapons at WR: Phillip Dorsett, Rashad Greene, and Lamarcus Joyner. The OL is maybe the best in the state.
BA is the one of the few teams in the state who has the players in the secondary to match-up with the speed of St. Thomas. Cliff Coleman, Demar Dorsey, Harmon Brown, Steven Clark, and Brandon Butler all have big time skills. The front 7 needs to play up to their potential.
The Cobra's need Craig Weaver to relax and protect the football. The senior has a lot of raw talent, but is trying to do too much. WR Jesse York is a game-breaker. RB Marcus Thompson can get the tough yards and keep the clock moving, he needs to put this offense on his back in this one.
