Some teams took care of business, others were upset, it was a great week one of action. Here is the SunStateFootball.com Top 10 after week 1.

1. St Thomas Aquinas(1-0, 5A): After traveling to Ohio and throttling Upper Arlington, the Raiders had the week off. They get Boyd Anderson at home this Friday night.

2. Miami Northwestern(1-0, 6A): The Bulls beat rival Carol City 27-6 and have the week off.

3. Miami Central(1-0, 6A): The Rockets went on the road and beat an excellent Mainland team 34-3. They face Killian on Friday night.

4. Pahokee(1-0, 2B): The Blue Devils beat Atlantic in a Palm Beach County showdown showing that they can play up with anyone. They travel to Inlet Grove on Friday night.

5. Lakeland(0-0, 5A): The Dreadnaughts opened the season with an off week. They travel to Winter Haven on Friday night.

6. Manatee(1-0, 5A): Manatee continued to show offensive explosion as they handled Bayshore 45-0. They travel to Palmetto this week.

7. Booker T. Washington(1-0, 3A): The Tornadoes handled Killian and now get ready for Carol City.

8. Dr. Phillips(1-0, 6A): They won at Edgewater and now travel to Kissimmee Osceola for perhaps the game of the week.

9. Armwood(1-0, 4A): Handled Newsome 48-6 and play #10 Tampa Bay Tech in two weeks.

10. Tampa Bay Tech(1-0, 5A): Beat the defending state champs(Plant) with a late rally. Host Riverview on Friday night.
