Will Burbridge is a 6'1+, 215 pound sledgehammer at running back. The power is complemented by soft hands and the ability to get open in the passing game. Golden ran for a Pasco County record 2,500+ yards, in many cases it was Burbridge's lead blocking that opened up those running lanes. On defense, he played LB where he relishes contact and can get sideline to sideline with his speed. Here are some junior clips.
It is hard to watch the game film of Gulf and not notice #2 flying around out there. Daryl Cooper is one of those players who seems to always be around the ball. He has great closing speed and has shown the ability to play around the line of scrimmage. At 5'10, 180, he will need to transition to safety at the next level, but he has the speed and ability to play in space that projects well there. Here are some junior clips.
With a 10-2 record and District Championship in 2008, Gulf High in New Port Richey had an outstanding year. 2010 prospects Leon Orr(commit to UF) and Adrian "Bubba" Golden have attracted plenty of attention on the recruiting trail, however there are two more intriguing prospects on the roster.
