For two days, Jacksonville will be the place to be this weekend as some top boys' high school basketball will be played at Andrew Jackson High.
JACKSONVILLE –
The 3rd annual Thanksgiving Tip-off Classic, under the direction of RJM Sporting & Events Inc will be held at Andrew Jackson Senior High School in Jacksonville, Florida on November 28th and 29th, 2003. The Tip off Classic will showcase some of the top boy's basketball teams throughout the state of Florida as well as North Carolina and South Carolina.
The Invitational will benefit each of the participating high school athletic programs with exposure and playing experience. We would like to make this a stellar event to give something back to basketball fans around the city of Jacksonville.
The teams participating are Jean Ribault, Andrew Jackson, William Raines, Silver Bluff High (South Carolina), Brandon High School (Tampa, Florida), Laurinburg High (North Carolina). The tickets will be sold the day of the game at Andrew Jackson on Friday and Saturday for $6.00.
The schedule for Friday night is as follows:
5:00 p.m.
Jacksonville, FL Andrew Jackson vs. Silver Bluff (South Carolina)
6:45 p.m.
Jacksonville, FL Ribault high school vs. Laurinburg High (North Carolina)
8:30 p.m.
Jacksonville, FL Raines high school vs. Brandon High (Tampa)
