Chris De La Rosa is a talented linebacker prospect from Lake Brantley High, and he talks about the latest with recruiting.

Chris DeLaRosa was a very good player for Lake Brantley High in 2012. He was the team's middle linebacker and turned in a tremendous season.

"Lately I've just been working out and speed training with Lo Wood," DeLaRosa said.

At 6-foot-1 and 215 pounds, DeLaRosa is still waiting for his first scholarship offer but he could be close.

"UConn came to our school and they pulled my transcript," he said. "The schools I like right now are 3. Florida, UCF, USF, FSU, and Wake Forest."

DeLaRosa says one of those schools jumps out over the others in the early stages.

"Florida, I have grown up a Gator fan and they have always been dominant and I have always wanted to play on that field and be a part of it."

Whether it's Florida or somewhere else, the talented linebacker will likely play Division 1 football somewhere. He talked about the things he'll be looking for when choosing a school.

"I'll be looking at their facilities, their academics of course. I don't want to go to a small school, but a large school with a long tradition," he said.
