Chucky Williams switches to Cards

Chucky Williams, a three-star safety from Champagnat Catholic in Hialeah, Florida, made the decision to flip his commitment from Ole Miss to Louisville.

Versatile 3-star athlete Chucky Williams was among the Louisville's 13 official visitors over the weekend and on Tuesday made the decision to become a Cardinal.

Williams played on both sides of the ball at Champagnat Catholic, where he recorded over 1,200 total yards, 9 touchdowns and 4 interceptions, while also battling a groin injury.

He's rated as the nation's 52nd best safety prospect by Scout.com.

Williams collected over 20 scholarship offers during the recruiting process and also took an official visit to Nebraska.

Linebacker Finesse Middleton, who is already enrolled and taking classes at U of L also switched his commitment from Ole Miss to Louisville.

Following William's pledge to Louisville, the Cardinals average star rating for it's commitments is 3.08, which is tied with Stanford and Vanderbilt at 25th.
