"My visit was great," said Sandberg. "I am not sure if it could have gone better.

"We drove up early, because we had a long trip than most of the guys.

"Everybody showed up around 4:00 on Friday and that is when the festivities began."

Sandberg reports that the important guests were extremely well fed during their time in town.

"We ate so much good food," said Sandberg. "We ate one night at the Veranda and that was amazing.

"We ate at out at Coach Mullen's house and there was so much good food there.

"He has an amazing house to, so it was nice to just be there with everybody and their families.

"It was a great atmosphere to be a part of."

Sandberg was hosted by redshirt freshman linebacker Richie Brown.

"I liked Richie a lot," said Sandberg. "He's a good kid and I got along well with him.

"I enjoyed getting to know some of the other recruits while I was there.

"I probably spent the most time with Jake Thomas. He and I just sort of paired up and we talked a lot.

"I liked him a lot."

Sandberg reports that he enjoyed getting to know more about what college life in Starkville would be like.

"Everytime I visit over there, I find something else to like," said Sandberg. "I have enjoyed it everytime I have visited.

"I like the campus and I like all of the facilities over there."

The talented Sandberg spent some time with the baseball and football coaches during his visit to MSU.

At some point, a decision will have to be made about college and a potential major league baseball career, but for now Sandberg is focused on college.

"I don't know if I am going to play both sports yet," said Sandberg. "I am still thinking about all of that, but I know I am going to play football for sure if I go to college.

"I am going to sign in a couple of weeks and then we'll see just what happens with baseball later on.

"Right now my plan is to go to Mississippi State and we'll see what happens on June 6th when they have the draft.

"I love Mississippi State and I know I would be happy there.

"I know if I go to college, that it will be Mississippi State."
