Connecticut added an interior player to the 2013 recruiting class early Monday morning.
Amida Brimah, a 6-foot-11 center out of Miami (Fla.) Archbishop Carroll, committed to Kevin Ollie's program. The news was confirmed via Brimah's Twitter account.
"I will be playing college basketball at [the] University Of Connecticut," Brimah tweeted.
Brimah took an official visit to Connecticut this past weekend.
With Brimah's commitment, UConn now has a trio of prospects in their 2013 class. He joins four-star center Kentan Facey, as well as three star guard Terrence Samuel.
