"Lehigh had real good season they started out, 9-0 then lost their 10th game, so they went 10-1 which is great year," Harvey said.
At 6-foot-1 and 215 pounds, Harvey talked about his future there.
"I'll be playing inside linebacker and they run a 3-4 scheme so that's two positions open I can play. There are 4 guys going for that spot since they lost their 2 starters, so I have a chance to earn some good playing time."
His relationship with the coaches played a big role in his decision.
"I talk to Coach Ryan, and Coach Sanders the most. They're awesome, we have great relationships. I speak with Coach Ryan at least once a week."
Since he committed, Harvey says other schools have backed off.
"Schools aren't really contacting me any more," he said. "I have no visits scheduled."
He's very excited about spending the next few years of his life there.
"I'm a solid commit, that's hometown, I went to their field and watched eagles training camp when I was 4 years old. I get along with everyone. Also, the academics are exceptional which makes my parents really happy."
