Focused on the ring, not recruiting

Boaz Joseph

Cornerback Boaz Joseph is focused on his playoff game on Friday versus Columbus.

Cornerback Boaz Joseph (Weston, Fla./Cypress Bay) and his teammates are one game away from a state championship matchup. They face Miami Columbus in the state semi-finals. Going deep in the playoffs has pushed recruiting to the back burner for Joseph.

"They look real good on film," Joseph said. "We just have to stop the run first. I just want to win and get to the state championship. That's why I am not really focused on recruiting right now. We have two more game to go."

Joseph made an official visit to Purdue earlier this fall. He says Florida State visited his school today while Nebraska has stepped up their recruiting efforts.

"Man, there's a lot of changes happening right now in college football so I really don't know. I'm just going to worry about it all after the season. Nebraska is recruiting me the hardest right now and so is Kentucky."
