SunStateFootball Top 100: 46-50

Earl Moore

The state of Florida is expected to have over 330 players sign D-1 scholarships on signing day. SunStateFootball provides a Pre-Spring Top 100 to highlight SOME of the top players in the state. Here is a look at players 46-50.

46. Earl Moore

Area Rank: Tampa(7)

School: Tampa Hillsborough

Ht/Wt: 6'1, 280

Position: Defensive Tackle

Offers: South Carolina, USF, Texas Tech, USC, Rutgers, UF, Miami, FSU

Athletic DT that makes a lot of plays from the interior. Moore has great burst off the ball, he is very strong, and can get after the QB. Plays physical at the point of attack. He lacks ideal height at 6'1, but should carry 300 down the road. He has attracted significant interest on the recruiting trail including his home town USF and the Big 3.

47. Danny Isidora

Area Rank: Broward(5)

School: Cypress Bay

Ht/Wt: 6'3, 330

Position: Offensive Guard

Offers: Wisconsin, Michigan, WVU, NC State, Washington State

Massive interior line who moves extremely well for a big fella. Has the ability to pull and lock on defenders in space. Carries a lot of weight in his legs which are very strong. Figures to play OG and excels in the run game where he gets a lot of reps in Cypress Bay's run first attack. Has 5+ BCS offers and will get more in the Spring when schools see him up close.

48. Alton Howard

Area Rank: CentFla(8)

School: Orlando Edgewater

Ht/Wt: 5'9, 165

Position: Wide Receiver

Offers: Miami, UF, USC, South Carolina, Notre Dame, Louisville, Ohio State, UCLA

The man who goes by "Pig" is one of the fastest players in the state. Whether it is at WR, QB, or RB he makes plays for Edgewater. Lacks ideal size, but he is tough as nails. Will probably play in the slot and once he is in space the play is over. He has interest from all over the country and is considered very open on the trail.

49. Kevis Jones

Area Rank: Broward(6)

School: Oakland Park Northeast

Ht/Wt: 6'2, 210

Position: Outside Linebacker

Offers: Illinois

Jones was a QB early in his high school career and played mainly WR as a junior where he made a lot of plays. We think he will be an Outside Linebacker down the road because of his size and athleticism. Dominated there as a sophomore for a three game stretch. Jones is all about upside down the road as he runs well, is physical, and has great character off the field. Has not attracted the attention he deserves, but that should change over the next six months.

50. Malcolm Lewis

Area Rank: Broward(7)

School: Miramar

Ht/Wt: 5'11, 185

Position: Wide Receiver

Offers: WVU, Nebraska, FSU, LSU, Alabama

Pure WR that simply gets open, catches the ball, and makes the play. He is not the biggest nor fastest in the state, but few are better today. Has shown the ability to go up and get it while playing the game with great toughness. Easily could play in the slot, but figures to fit into a spread type offense. He has a lot of top offers, but WVU has to be considered the favorite as they do well at Miramar.
