10 in Palm Beach

Avery Young

Palm Beach County is home to some of the top programs in the state such as Glades Central, American Heritage, Pahokee, Dwyer, and Jupiter Christian. Here is a look at 10 prospects to keep an eye on for 2012.

Avery Young, Palm Beach Gardens

Ht/Wt: 6'5, 275

Position: Offensive Line

Early Leader: Offers from everyone

One of those guys who seems to possess everything, Young has quickly emerged as one of the top prospects in Florida. He still has a ways to go filling out his frame, but he has prototype potential.

Patrick Miller, Dwyer

Ht/Wt: 6'6, 265

Position: Offensive Tackle

Early Leader: Appears to want to state in-state

Every time we see Miller, he has added more weight. At 6'6+, the one-time TE has all the tools to be a starter at LT. Miller needs to continue working on his technique while adding more weight.

Jessamen Dunker, Boynton Beach

Ht/Wt: 6'6, 315

Position: Offensive Linemen

Early Leader: UF, UGA,and Miami seem to be early favorites

We have not had the opportunity to see Dunker like the other prospects on this list, but his film is impressive and he is adding offers daily. Former basketball player appears to be a rare type of athlete for a big man.

Wilson is latest Glades Central WR

Angelo Jean-Louis, Palm Beach Central

Ht/Wt: 6'0, 175

Position: Wide Receiver

Early Leader: Open

Has the physical tools to be the next great PB County WR, but has lacked consistency. He has great leaping ability and enough speed to make big plays. He should be one of the more heavily evaluated players in the Spring.

Jamie Wilson, Glades Central

Ht/Wt: 5'11, 175

Position: Wide Receiver

Early Leader: Miami

Glades Central has produced WR's Santonio Holmes, Deonte Thompson, Rantavious Wooten, Travis Benjamin, Greg Dent, and Kelvin Benjamin over the past 10 years. Wilson is next in line.

Tyler Cameron, Jupiter

Ht/Wt: 6'3, 215

Position: Quarterback

Early Leader: Open

Lefty who has a similar skill set as Tim Tebow. Cameron is going to fit a spread type of offense that will utilize his running ability. He is accurate, but needs to improve arm strength.

Crevon Leblanc, Glades Central

Ht/Wt: 5'10, 170

Position: Cornerback

Early Leader: Open

Confident corner that is capable of playing man against top talent. Great leaping ability. Probably has gone up against as much talent in practice as most players see in a year. Should get plenty of looks in the Spring.

Roshard Burney, Palm Beach Gardens

Ht/Wt: 5'10, 215

Position: Running Back

Early Leader: Open

Big backs are hard to come by(even harder in today's spread offenses), Burney has that size. He is fast enough to get the corner and is an ideal fit in more traditional offenses. Could be a FB down the road.

Cameron Posey, American Heritage

Ht/Wt: 6'2, 180

Position: Wide Receiver

Early Leader: Open

Posey brings size and a knack for making to plays to the table. He has excelled on both sides of the ball(Safety) and has won a lot of games. Needs to continue to develop his route running skills.

Dominique Gibson, Glades Central

Ht/Wt: 5'10, 195

Position: Linebacker/Safety

Early Leader: Open

Gibson makes plays all over the field at LB, S, and RB. He is shorter than an ideal, but could find a home at LB or S. Gibson finds the football and finishes when he gets there.

Others to Watch: Kedric Bostic, Evan Moore, Tremane McCullough, Jatavis Brown
